The front garden, which is paved with shrub borders, is a place to relax with a cup of tea or glass of wine as you watch the world go by. Or throw open the double doors and sit out in the sun-filled back patio. There is parking for up to four cars. Children are most welcome! The beaches here are very safe for bathing, and traffic moves slowly as Portscatho is a no-through-road village.
Surrounding Portscatho are breathtakingly beautiful scenes over countryside and sea, down to the gorgeous sailing waters and creeks of the River Fal.
There is no shortage of things to do and places to go, and many return time and time again to this gorgeous part of Cornwall.

From the M5 take the A30 Westbound: Exit A30 towards Ladock (B3275), continue through Ladockk to end of road. Turn right towards Truro (still on B3275). At junction take left on A390 (St Austell). Take 2nd right A3078 to Tregony, Veryan and St Mawes. Pass Tregony and Veryan. After Trewithian turn left to Portscatho and Gerrans. Take first left to Portscatho, at end take hairpin left bend and go down hill. Arrive in The Square. You will see the Plume of Feathers pub in front of you. Hillside House is on the left next to the butcher. |
