The Sub-Tropical gardens of Lamorran are open to the public under the Great Gardens of Cornwall Group and complimentary entrance is included for guests staying at the Lodge during opening hours.
It is a very well maintained and comfortable cottage and well placed in the village. Many country walks as well as water sports.
Accommodation:
A sitting room with television, DVD player and a small DVD library;
A well equipped kitchen /diner with ceramic hob, double electric oven, fridge/freezer, washing machine;
A conservatory;
One double bedroom and one twin bedroom with en suite shower room and a family bathroom.
Access to the twin bedroom is through the double bedroom or French windows to the garden. The Lodge has its own private entrance with off road parking for two cars and a small enclosed garden.
The Lodge was inspected and awarded 4 Star Rating by Visit Britain Quality in Tourism.
The property is only 5/8 minutes walk from the shops of St Mawes, its beaches and many facilities which include a convenience store, fishmonger, butcher, baker, Post Office and a good selection of pubs and restaurants.

The address is Lamorran, Upper Castle Road, St Mawes, Truro, Cornwall, TR2 5BZ. From Exeter A30. Fraddon exit. Through Groundpound Road Village then follow for St Mawes. From Plymouth take the A38 to Dobwalls then take the A390 to St Austell. After St Austell you will pass a turning to Sticker shortly after that turning on your left take the B3287 sign posted Tregony and St Mawes, from here it is approx l5miles to St Mawes. Go through Tregony and then St Just in Roseland on the A3078. As you enter St Mawes there is a large water tower on your right and then the remains of an old garage. Take the next right sign posted To Lamorran Gardens and the Castle and follow the road until you come to a row of pine trees (before you come to the castle) on your left at the end of the row is a tourist sign with a flower and a set of large white pillars with a blue sign which is the entrance to Lamorran Gardens. |
