Tigh Aonghais (Angus' House) is a warm, comfortable and well-maintained detached three bedroom bungalow, tastefully refurbished to make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible.

Located in the village of Bayble, on the Eye Peninsula, on the east side of the island of Lewis, it is only 7 miles from the scenic harbour town of Stornoway, yet far enough out in the country to enjoy and absorb the tranquillity of country life.

This is an ideal base to explore our beautiful island: visit the many historical sites, relax on the breath-taking white, long sandy beaches, or simply see and enjoy the variety of birds and wildlife in their natural habitat.

Traveling to the Isle Of Lewis:

By Sea
You can travel from Ullapool on the Scottish mainland to Stornoway in less than 3 hours or alternatively you can choose the shorter crossing (1hr 40mins) from Uig on Skye to Tarbert on Harris.

By Air

Stornoway is connected to the mainland by flights to all major Scottish airports includiing Inverness, Aberdeen, Glasgow and Edinburgh.
Getting to Tigh Aonghais:

Tigh Aonghais is situated in the village of Lower Bayble (Pabail Iarach) in the District of Point.

By Car
Tigh Aonghais is 10 minutes (5 miles) from Stornoway airport and about 15 minutes (7 miles) from Stornoway ferry terminal.
