Located in quite a rural location Huntingtower Cottage is very quiet. It is sited at the end of a private road past Huntingtower House. The end of its private garden looks out onto open fields and Huntingtower Castle.

Within walking distance from the cottage is a supermarket, restaurant and local pub. Also near by there is golf, fishing, riverside walks, gardens, distilleries, castles and Scone palace.
Perth has a good choice of high street shops as well as speciality stores. With Crafts, country ware, gifts and delicatessens are well represented.

Easy touring along the A9 Highland road makes a rewarding circular day tour, with Blair Castle, Castle Menzie, Edradour Distillery and the Queens view at Loch Tummel. These are just some of the attractions which are must sees and not too far away.

Hill walking is also good in the area with serious hill walkers having a great choice. Carn Marig, Glen Lyon, and the wild peaks around Bienn Ghlo in Atholl all close by.

Directions

From Broxden roundabout on the outskirts of Perth take the exit marked Inverness and the North. Take the next exit marked Crieff road. At the top of this slip road take the first left on to Crieff road. On the right you will see a white gate with a sign marked Huntingtower House. This is just before the row of cottages on the right. Take this single lane road down you will pass a large house on the right. Pass this house and on the right you will see Huntingtower cottage with its own parking space below.
