The Bothy at Devonside Cottage |
|
| Property: 5230 | Central Scotland |
|
|
The Bothy is built into the side of a hill which gives it a quirky but very useable layout. It is entered at ground level into an entrance hall which doubles as a dressing room. The bathroom is also on this level.
From the hall there are open tread stairs leading up to the mezzanine level bedroom. There are also stairs leading down to the living area.
The open plan living area comprises the living, dining and kitchen areas and benefits from panoramic views to open farmland. It's south facing aspect also gives it a light and airy feel. There is wooden flooring throughout the area.
The kitchen area has an electric cooker with a double oven and halogen hotplate. There is also a microwave and fridge with small freezer.
The sitting area has television, freeview and DVD player and views to open farmland. Although the property has oil fired central heating throughout, there is also a working wood burning stove for a cosy atmosphere. The dining area has views to the garden and Tinto.
A welcome pack of tea, coffee and milk with some home baking will be provided on arrival. All bed linen and towels are provided at no additional cost. A warm welcome will always be given especially on a cold winters day!
