Tucked away in the corner, and identified by the old black pump beside the gate, it is one of 7 privately owned cottages converted from 19C farm buildings. The farmyard provides off road parking and our cottage has a private, south-facing, back garden overlooking fields to the village and distant sea glimpses.
The single story accommodation comprises one double bedroom, bathroom, kitchen/lounge and a south-facing conservatory.
Bed linen and towels are provided. Electricity is by £1 coin meter. Telephone receives incoming calls.
The cottage is very well equipped with washing machine, iron/ironing board, fridge/freezer, cooker, microwave, kettle and toaster.
There is a TV, Radio/CD player and DVD player.
The secluded back garden has a barbeque, patio furniture, a washing line, dustbin and a pretty plant corner.
The Lizard is England's most southerly point offering a warmer local climate, early Spring flowers, walks with spectacular views from the coastal path, The Lizard Lighthouse, swimming and surfing from sandy beaches, delightful fishing coves, sailing on the Helford river, heather covered moors in Autumn, open gardens and National Trust areas, pretty harbour lights at Christmas, friendly pubs and good fresh local food!
Within easy reach of the peninsula are the market town of Helston, St. Michael's Mount, Penzance with day trips to the beautiful Isles of Scilly, Land's End, St. Ives, Redruth, Truro and Falmouth.
