The Estate is situated on the fringe of the Scottish Highlands and the recently designated Loch Lomond National Park. J ust to the north is the Lake of Menteith, the only LAKE as supposed to LOCH, in Scotland.
Close by are the famous Trossachs, an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and closely associated with Rob Roy MacGregor and many exciting periods of Scottish History.
Cardross Holiday Homes are ideally situated for visiting Scotland's major cities, the Highlands and both coasts.

Directions from Stirling and the East: Leave the M9 motorway at Junction 10. Turn on to the A84 towards Doune and Callander. Approx. 6 miles turn left on to the B8075 sign posted Gargunnock. Approx. 3 miles turn right at T-junction on to A811 signposted Erskine Bridge. Continue to Arnprior. Turn right on to the B8034 towards Port of Menteith. After 3 miles cross a hump backed bridge over the River Forth. After 150 yards, turn right at the gate lodge. Follow driveway to Cardross House bearing right at fork. Directions from Glasgow Airport and the West: Take the M8 and M898. Cross the River Clyde on the Erskine Bridge. Turn left on to the A82 sign posted Dumbarton, Balloch, Loch Lomond. Continue to roundabout at end of dual carriageway. Turn right on to the A811 passing Drymen and on through Buchlyvie. Approx. 2 miles from Buchlyvie is Arnprior. Turn left on to the B8034 towards Port of Menteith. After 3 miles cross a hump backed bridge over the River Forth. After 150 yards, turn right at the old gatehouse. Follow driveway to Cardross House bearing right at fork. |
