The accommodation consists of a living room with double height vaulted ceiling and floor to ceiling windows on to a garden view. Off the Living room is a double shower and toilet, plus a kitchenette with microwave.
The L shape sofa in the Living room would easily sleep a third adult or two children (Included in double price if you bring sleeping bags)
Upstairs there is a double bedroom for which linen is provided.
The Barn is circa 300 years old and has been subject to a recent complete renovation. The best of the older features have been retained, and are now complimented by the latest contemporary style and furniture. There is also a bug screen LCD TV, PlayStation 3, and a Music system available.
Outside you are welcome to use the grounds and sit in the evening sun.

From M1 South - Leave the motorway at Junction 17 and head for Daventry. On the outskirts of Daventry join the ring road and take signs for A361 to Banbury. On entering Byfield, turn right at the second mini roundabout in to Boddington Road. After 400 metres in the dip of the hill turn left in to Westhorpe Lane. Look out for a large Yew Tree and thatched cottage on the right and turn in to the drive (the turn is a bit tight for a large Car or People Carrier - please park on the road if you are concerned) From M1 North - Leave the motorway at Junction 16 and head for Daventry/Weedon on the A45. On the outskirts of Daventry join the ring road and take signs for A361 to Banbury. On entering Byfield, turn right at the second mini roundabout in to Boddington Road. Look out for a large Yew Tree and thatched cottage on the right and turn in to the drive (the turn is a bit tight for a large Car or People Carrier - please park on the road if you are concerned) From M40 North - Leave Motorway at Junction 12 and take the B4451 towards Bishops Itchington - almost immediately turn right in to an unmarked lane (if you miss it, go on to Bishops Itchington and take a right for Knightcote). At the end of the lane turn right for Knightcote. Go through Knightcote until you come to a T-Junction. Turn right for Fenny Compton, and go through the village taking the signs for Wormleighton (passing over the A423). After Wormleighton, take a left fork for Boddington, and proceed straight through the village. Drive past Boddington Reservoir on your right, up the hill in to Byfield. Go straight on at the cross roads, and then turn right in to Westhorpe lane after 100 metres. Look out for a large Yew Tree and thatched cottage on the right and turn in to the drive (the turn is a bit tight for a large Car or People Carrier - please park on the road if you are concerned) From M40 North - Leave Motorway at Junction 11 and take the A361 to Daventry. Follow the A361 until you arrive on the outskirts of Byfield. Before you enter the village, take a left hand turn (signposted Boddington). Go over a bridge and take the next right, and then next left in to Westhorpe Lane. Look out for a large Yew Tree and thatched cottage on the left and turn in to the drive (the turn is a bit tight for a large Car or People Carrier - please park on the road if you are concerned). |
