From the hall you enter into the spacious, open-plan lounge and kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas hob, double electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. In the lounge there is a DVD player, 32" flat screen TV, CD/Radio and log effect gas fire.
The conservatory has a dining suit for six people, with both heating and a ceiling fan for all year use. From here the french doors open onto the pretty garden area. Outside there is patio furniture and a BBQ for alfresco dining.
A winding staircase leads to the first floor. The en-suite bedroom has a king-size bed and a single bed. The double bedroom and single bedroom share the family bathroom, which has a bath and a separate shower enclosure. Duvets are provided appropriate to the season.
The village offers a children's park, three pubs, Italian restaurant, shop and tearoom, newsagent, chemist, butcher, post office, quality swimming pool and gym.
This is an idyllic place to relax and unwind yet there is plenty to do, in and around the area. There are many woodland and coastal walks from the cottage door and great opportunities for bird watching, fishing, cycling, horse riding and golf.

From J35 M6 Motorway: Take the signs for Carnforth and then Silverdale. On entering the village, the cottage is on the right hand side of Stankelt Road behind the Limes House, which is clearly signed. Turn up the drive and park next to the cottage. Silverdale Station connects with the West Coast Mainline. A bus runs from there into the village centre [1 mile], and will stop at the Limes on request. Or transfer can be arranged for you. |
