Parma Violet Accommodation is a period self catering property on 2 floors, centrally located in the Georgian market town of Kirkby Lonsdale.

It is a really special property in a unique setting appealing to both the walker or shopper, family or couple!

We sleep 4 (+ sofa bed) and offer weekend/mid week stays in addition to full weeks.

Expect the highest level of both quality (Farrow and Ball colours throughout!) and cleanliness, but more importantly we would like you to enjoy the special touches we have lovingly provided including the hand painted mouse hole on the stairs, (no residents!) cosy wood burner and Complimentary Welcome Hamper with wine.

Close access to The Lakes/Dales/M6 Motorway.

The Accommodation is located on the uppermost floors of the wonderfully eclectic gift shop, Parma Violet and has the following features:
Separate entrance and staircase to Floor One.

Floor One: Large lounge with 2 full length sash windows, wood burning stove, and leather sofa bed (small double in size*). Modern and well appointed dining kitchen, with fan assisted oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher. Small utility room housing washer/drier.
Landing and staircase to Floor Two.

Floor Two: Good sized master bedroom with large 5ft bed, sash windows and exposed beams. (Please note some areas are of restricted head height) Twin bedded room, with 2 x single (3ft) beds, exposed beam. Lovely bathroom with modern fittings including corner sink, ceiling mounted shower and bath.

Outdoor Facilities: No. There are no outdoor facilities offered with this property, however the town and surrounding area are reknown as an area of outstanding natural beauty, with a large river and picnic area less than 5 mins walk away. The church yard has been described as the loveliest in the world!!

Local Services: The town itself offers everything you could ever wish for including the following!:
Booths supermarket (at the top end of the town), award winning shops, restaurants,pubs and winebars, cafes, cheese shop (complete with live pianist!),bakery, butchers,chocolate shop, art galleries, antique shops etc. Also childrens playground, post office, churches, guided walks around the town, annual festivals, plus beautiful walks both locally and further afield. Both the Lakes and Dales are situated within 1/2 hours drive away. Easy access to the M6 motorway, being a mere 10 mins drive.

Standard Rates

Low Season: (Jan/Feb/Mar/Nov/Dec, except Christmas and New Year) £375.00 for 7 nights and £245.00 for 3 or 4 night stays.
Mid Season: (April/May/June/Sept/Oct) £495.00 for 7 nights and £325.00 for 3 or 4 night stays.
High Season: (July/Aug/Christmas and New Year) £595.00 for 7 night stays and £395.00 for 3 or 4 night stays.

Take the middle turning of 3 to Kirkby Lonsdale:
Off the A65 at the roundabout and pass Booths on the left. At the 'T' junction turn left and continue up the hill, bearing right at the top to drive down Mitchelgate. At the bottom, turn right onto the Main Street and continue around the corner. Try to park in the 1 hour time limit parking spaces on the RHS, but if not possible pull up on the opposite kerb to the property (we are no.52a, half way down before the Lunesdale Bakery)to unload bags. Free and safe parking is available 24/7 and is situated a 5 min walk away from the property.
