The unspoilt town of Fowey hugs the western banks of the Fowey River in South Cornwall, close to the sandy coves and lush green woodland of this area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, protected by the National Trust and cherished by its local inhabitants.

Close by, within a short drive of the cottage, lies the Lost Gardens of Heligan, and Daphne Du Maurier country which envelops this beautiful area. Walkers are spoilt for choice with The South West Coastal Path, The Saints' Way, and Hall Walk, reputedly one of the 100 best walks in England.

For those who prefer the delights of fresh Cornish cuisine, there is a menu for every pocket and preference, with local produce a key ingredient in the best dishes.

There are Blue Flag sandy beaches within easy travel; these are regularly tended to ensure that their pristine appearance is preserved.

Accommodation comprises lounge/dining room, with colour TV, video, DVD and open working fireplace. Dining area comfortably seats four to six. The compact kitchen has a low ceiling, with sink, four-ring gas hob, electric oven and grill, microwave, fridge, washer/drier, kettle, and toaster etc.

A narrow staircase with half landing leads to the bathroom, with power shower, vanity unit, low flush WC and heated towel rail. On the first floor is bedroom one with a king-size bed, and bedroom two, with bunk beds, and stairs leading up to the attic bedroom, which has twin beds, sloping ceilings and exposed beams.

The property has central heating and is fully equipped with all necessary self catering equipment. Duvets are provided. Linen is not supplied, but can be hired.
