From the York ring road (A1237): Take the B1363 towards Helmsley. When you get to Sutton-on-the-Forest turn right at the 'T' junction and then left at the mini-roundabout (still following the B1363). When you get to the village of Stillington, turn right at the 'T' junction, go past the Post Office on your right and then as the road bends to the left turn right towards Farlington. Follow this road for about 2 miles till you see a turning to the left, signposted Stearsby (after a cluster of houses named 'Marston'). Follow this road for 1 mile (you may have to pull over for other traffic as it is really a single lane road) until you come to a crossroads with some houses opposite you. Go straight across and down the hill. At the 'T' junction turn right and follow the road round to the left at the end. The Granary is the last house at the end of this road. |
