The recently renovated house has 2 twin bedrooms upstairs with a new family shower/bathroom and a large main bedroom, with a king sized double bed and an en-suite shower room.
On the main floor are the fully fitted breakfast/kitchen room and a large, comfortable sitting room with a small balcony. The 4Th twin bedroom and the cloakroom (with washing and drying machines) is also off this hallway. All bed linen is provided.
Madeira House is conveniently near the heated open air swimming pool, the canoe lake, the children's water park and Appley Park.
A stroll in the other direction brings you to the Marina, bowling alley, ice rink, a children's funfair, crazy golf, bowls greens, the Balcony nightclub and the town of Ryde itself, where there is a choice of many restaurants cafes and bars.
There is a park behind the house with ample space for football etc. -Life is very easy at Madeira House, you don't even need to move the car! Parking tickets are supplied for on road parking for the duration of your stay.
The jet foil leaves every 30 minutes from Ryde pier to Portsmouth and Gun wharf Quays (outlet stores) and the Hovercraft to Southsea (Aquarium and funfair).
From the bus station you can catch the open topped bus, for a trip around the island. The train line terminates in Sandown.
All are within a short walking distance of Madeira House.
August is fully booked. Some dates available in June, July and September.
