With four bedrooms (3 doubles and a twin), a shower room, and a family bathroom Redcliffe accommodates 8 very comfortably (+ a baby), and would make a perfect holiday home for a larger or extended family (maxiumum 6 adults).
It has generous living rooms with high ceilings, and a well-equipped eat-in kitchen/breakfast room with a wood burning stove. It has been refurbished to high standards with quality furnishings and fittings and touches of luxury, with comfortable beds, fine bed linen, a Jacuzzi bath, complimentary broadband, original art on the walls, and books, games, videos and DVDs for guests to enjoy.
The large enclosed garden is south-facing. At upper level it has spacious terraces and a decked area (all nicely furnished), a sloping lawn with fruit trees, borders of roses and flowering shrubs, and at ground level there is a pretty courtyard accessed from the living room French doors. (NB As the garden has steep steps from courtyard to upper level - gated at the top - it is unsuited to unsupervised younger children.)
West Lulworth has a church, village shop, and the thatched Castle Inn is just at the end of the lane.
Lulworth Castle is five minutes by car, there are many great attractions for family days out, and truly spectacular coastal walks. You can swim in crystal clear waters in quiet bays within a 15-30 minute walk, as well as at the cove of course where you can kayak or take boat trips in summer.
