Aller Green Farm is a delightful recently refurbished three bedroom detached thatched stone cottage set in a secluded village location in the middle of the beautiful and stunning Dorset countryside. yet with in easy reach of the coast and its many excellent beaches.

The towns of Dorchester and Blandford Forum are close to hand. The village has a pub serving food daily and a farm shop which opens every day selling newspapers and catering for essential daily needs.

Accommodation
The house has 1 double, 1 twin and 1 bunk bedded room all upstairs with the addition of a further seperate sitting room downstairs with a double sofa bed. A cot can be provided if necessary to go into any of these rooms.

The lounge is a feature of the cottage being spacious yet cosy with a large inglenook fireplace housing a wood burning stove.

The bathroom is downstairs and has both a bath and separate shower cubicle.
Outside

The cottage is set within its owns grounds of approximately half an acre and is surrounded by a mature and pretty garden.
The garden is enclosed and safe for children.
There is an outside table and chairs.
Parking for several cars is on site.
Facilities

The cottage is furnished to a very high standard and full facilities are provided including washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, microwave etc.
The property has oil fired central heating.
A highchair and stairgate are available if required.
A Television/Video/DVD is provided as well as a selection of games.
A pay telephone is on site - incoming calls are free.

Thank you, we had a lovely stay and the cottage was excellent in every respect. It was very clean - you must have a good housekeeper! We felt it was very well furnished and equipped - it's the best cottage we've stayed in. The boys enjoyed all the toys and it was very safe for them. We're struggling to suggest any improvements - in the kitchen a couple of baking trays would be useful. We had a lovely time - we were very lucky with the weather as the only rain was either at night or yesterday morning as we were coming home. Our son is in love with Corfe Castle as he thinks it is the castle form the Tintin adventure, The Black Island. We had to go there three times! The cottage is beautiful and you have really put a lot of thought into furnishing it. I am thinking of looking for somewhere to buy when funds are available - this is a medium to long term project - and I certainly gleaned a few ideas from the cottage. It was great that there was tea, coffee, milk etc in the cottage, although I had brought my own but it is always nice when the owner thinks to put in things that people may forget or not want to bring for a short stay - ditto dishwasher tablets and hand soap etc. A radio would have been good but I bought a cheap clock radio in Dorchester - we needed one for one of our bedrooms at home anyway - and I think I worked out why there wasn't one as the reception was terrible! At lease my husband had a week without Radio Bore as he calls Radio 4 so he was happy. It was great that mobiles didn't work as John only got troubled by the office once which was much better than the approximately 20 times our holiday on the Ile de Re was interrupted in June! I can't really think of any improvements - possibly sharper knives but I guess you have to be careful about what you supply with our good old European Health and Safety regulations! Thank you for letting us enjoy your lovely cottage. I hope you get the chance to spend some time down there soon. We had a very enjoyable holiday in Dorset last week. We only had one day of rain, so we ended up going to 5 different beaches during the week, amongst other things. The property itself was very good - it had everything required and more. Noticeable that most of the electrical items were Bosch - totally reliable!! Being 6 foot 1, however, I spent most of the time downstairs to avoid banging my head!! Not a problem though, as the cottage and location made up for any neck bending. I will forward more comments because I think my wife would like to let you know what she thought as well. I have been meaning to email you to thank you. We have had such a busy weekend since we got home, we feel we need another break again at your beautiful cottage!!! The cottage is amazing - you and your family are so lucky. I walked in and blown away by it - we have stayed at many cottages in Dorset over the years, but yours was picture perfect, everything you would want. The children loved the garden, exploring it. They played out there for hours. It was also great to have all the modern conveniences i.e. washing machine, dishwasher to make life easier. We ate in the pub next door on our last day and the food was excellent and they catered really well for the children. I wished we'd gone in there before. There is really nothing I can say about our holiday that needed improvement - it was fantastic and we will definitely be back next year. I loved it so much I was looking at all the "For sale" signs around and badgering my husband! We had a superb time at the cottage this weekend - it really is such a beautiful place and the cottage is gorgeous... We wondered if you had any spare days or weekends left over the summer? Also, we took some great pictures of the garden and cottage and didnt know if you wanted to use them for the website?
