Equidistant from two lovely (dog friendly) sandy beaches (3mls) and the delightful coastal village of Newport and the bustling market town of Cardigan.
In a wonderful, country/ coastal location ideal for all ages to relax or play or participate in the numerous local outdoor activities, artistic pursuits, historical places of interests and lots for children to do and see.
Ideal for touring the 3 counties of Pembrokeshire, Cardiganshire and Carmarthen.
We have lots of visitors who return year after year.
Accommodation:
You enter the cottage through the conservatory, which offers a sunny, alternative place to eat or just sit and relax and is the ideal place to store bikes, wellies, buckets and spades and golf clubs. When you enter the cottage proper to your left is the sitting room and to the right is twin-bedded room and straight ahead are the stairs. These lead up into the double-bedded room and a twin-bedded room and family bathroom. Both the upstairs bedrooms have pretty views over the garden.
The sitting room is cosy and comfortably furnished with a leather suite, TV, DVD and log fire. Beyond is the large and exceptionally bright open plan fully fitted kitchen and dining room, which overlook the garden and are very sunny and private. There is a dishwasher, gas hob, electric fan oven, fridge/freezer etc. Beyond the dining room there is a utility room with a washing machine and freezer.
The countryside and coastal views in this part of Pembrokeshire are the most stunning and spectacular. Frequent sitings of seals, dolphins, porpoises, basking sharks (they eat plankton not you!) and even whales and turtles are made from Ceibwr Bay, as well as a huge variety of coastal birds. The rare red kite is regularly seen flying above Hafod Grove and the flora and fauna of this area make it a nature lovers paradise.
