The apartment is situated in a quiet location on Shore Road with the Kames Hotel only 5 minutes walk away - or maybe 10 if you walk along the beach! The Kames Hotel also hosts music and seasonal functions. The excellent Kames store is about 10 minutes on foot.
The apartment is a wonderful place to stay for rest, relaxation and recreation.
Should you wish to stay at Ardencraig you will be forwarded information sheets, which will provide scenic travel options to Ardencraig and must do's, time permitting; amazing secret beaches to visit and have a picnic, scenic rambling routes, excellent places to eat and have coffee and cake, etc.

Kames, by Tighnabruaich, can be reached by taking the train, ferry then bus from Glasgow. By car you can drive along Loch Lomond and Loch Fyne or break the drive by taking the Gourock Ferry to Dunoon. Should you proceed to book then information sheets will be provided which provide details of how to travel - the ferry over the Clyde estuary and subsequent drive is stunning, as is the drive around "the long and winding road", as Paul McCartney put it. There will also be advice regarding great place to eat, walks, hidden beaches and the likes. |
