Our bungalow is located in an excellent position in the heart of the village with superb unrestricted views across the Sound of Mull and Kilchoan Bay. The ferry to Tobermory on the Isle of Mull departs from the Pier at the bottom of the road. The community/tourist information centre, hotel, local shop/post office are all within 10 minutes walking distance.
Facilities include a fully equipped large kitchen and utility room with hob cooker, fridge, upright freezer, washing machine, tumble drier, microwave. The lounge has a sun porch where you can watch the sun setting over the Sound of Mull, binoculars, telescope provided. There is also TV/Sky Freesat, Video/DVD, Books, board games for your entertainment.
There is 1 bedroom with double bed and fitted wardrope; this bedroom has superb views. We also have a double Futon sofa bed with single bunk on top for those extra visitors or family.
Ideal location for visiting, Isle of Mull, Ardnamurchan lighthouse, Portuiark and Sanna beach.
Pets are welcome and dogs particularly enjoy the extensive enclosed grassy grounds.
Things to see and do: Walking (30 great walks), Bird Watching, Wild Life, Geology, Fishing, Visit Isle of Mull. Enjoy the local traditional music (in season).

By Car: Take the A82 from Glasgow or Inverness to Corran. Take the Corran- Ardgour ferry (a 5 minute crossing). Follow the A861 to Salen, B8007 to Kilchoan. Alow approx. 2 hours form the ferry at Ardgour to Kilchoan. As an alternative to the ferry you can drive round Loch Linnie to Ardgour ( approx. 2 hours) or take the Mallaig road from Fort William then the Kinlochmoidart Road to Salen. |
