The double bedroom has a comfortable double bed, bedside tables, dressing table and wardrobe and is next to the bathroom with washhand basin, bath with shower and WC. Hot water is supplied by an electric mains water pressure heater and electric heating when needed.
Served by local buses Barton-on-Sea is a little over a mile from New Milton Station. Barton is famous for its scenic stretch of coastline with safe swimming, fishing and a cliff top golf club. Views from the cliff top take in a sweep of coastal scenery to Milford-on-Sea, Hurst Castle and the Isle of Wight to the East and Mudeford/Hengistbury Head to the West.
Magnificent coastal walks, including the start of the Solent Way nearby, make this an ideal area for those who enjoy the great outdoors whether on foot, bicycle or horseback.
The cliffs and beach are well known to geologists, many fossil remains have been found including prehistoric reptiles and sharks.
Nearby, Highcliffe Castle stands at the top of the cliffs, with steps leading down to the sandy beach below.
