Broomedge Farm holiday cottages are luxurious and well-appointed holiday rental cottages. Located on a quiet farm near Lymm in the Cheshire countryside, between Manchester and Liverpool.

Broomedge Farm Cottages make the perfect holiday cottage or holiday rental for anyone exploring the Northwest.
Less than 10 minutes from the motorway network yet in a peaceful location, they are only half an hour from Manchester centre and Salford Quays, and about 45 minutes from Chester and Liverpool. Manchester and Liverpool airports are easily accessible.

The cottages have been made out of an 18th century dairy parlour and have been finished to an exceptionally high standard, making them a very comfortable place to stay. Many of the original features have been kept, such as the beams and the windows. The high roof gives a wonderful feeling of space.

The cottages are laid out in an attractive open-plan style, with separate lounge, dining and kitchen areas - making them feel cosy yet spacious. Overall, they are quietly understated - the use of wooden floors throughout, together with sumptuous soft furnishings and flexible lighting gives a feeling of Scandinavian themes mixed with traditional rural architecture. The bathrooms are fully fitted, with power shower, bath and heated towel rail.

Each cottage has the following features and facilities -

  • There is a fully-equipped utility cupboard, complete with vacuum cleaner and a full range of cleaning materials.

    The lounge in each cottage is spacious and well-equipped, and is a comfortable place to relax.

  • DVD player
  • Remote controlled flame-effect electric fire
  • Local lighting

    The kitchens are very spacious and extremely well-equipped. They feature the following:

  • Electric fan oven Ceramic hob
  • Large fridge / freezer
  • Washing machine
  • Large work surfaces
  • Dining Area
    The large open-plan dining area has flexible lighting. It is close to the kitchen for convenience, and also so that whoever is preparing the food can still talk to the rest of the guests.

    Both cottages have 2 bedrooms, and each bedroom sleeps 2 people. The beds are Ziplock beds which can be configured into doubles or twins as required.

    All bedrooms feature the following:
  • Individual reading lights for every bed

    Outdoor Facilities: Yes. There is a patio with picnic tables, giving tremendous views across to Rivington Pike and Winter Hill. Grassed areas for children to play. The duckpond is a lovely feature outside the cottages. This has been securely fenced to make it safe for children, who will enjoy watching the ducks swimming and feeding in the pond.
    There is plenty of secure offroad parking on a good dry surface close to the cottages.

    The weekly tariffs varies between £430.00 (High Season)to £350.00(Low Season).




    Directions

    From the M6 motorway:
    Leave the motorway at J20. Follow signs for 'A50 Lymm & Services', finally taking the A50 southbound (signposted 'Knutsford').
    Stay on the A50 for around 2 miles (4.0km). Once you reach High Legh village, take a left turn into West Lane, signposted Partington and Carrington.
    Stay on West Lane for around 1 miles (2.4km), until you enter Broomedge village.
    You will come to a crossroads under the control traffic lights. Go straight over this crossroads, obeying the light signals. Immediately after the crossroads, look for the sign for Broomedge Farm Cottages on your right-hand side.
    Turn into the driveway. The cottages are on your left-hand side after around 200 yards (200m).

    From the M56 motorway (including from Manchester International Airport)
    Leave the motorway at J7. Stay in the right-hand lane on the slip road.
    At the roundabout take the 2nd exit, signposted 'Lymm A56'
    Stay on A56 for 2 miles, until you come to a crossroads under the control of traffic lights.
    Turn right at the lights. Immediately after the crossroads, look for the sign for Broomedge Farm Cottages on your right-hand side.
    Turn into the driveway. The cottages are on your left-hand side after around 200 yards (200m).
