This is a recently refurbished cottage and is new to the holiday market in 2008. It is furnished to a high standard with decor and soft furnishings which reflect its coastal location. It is situated in a quiet location, convenient for the beach and has beautiful views over the fields towards Beadnell village and the Cheviot Hills in the distance
Ground floor:
Open plan Living/dining room-a very social living area.
A comfortably furnished lounge area with large comfortable sofa and rocking chair. TV/ DVD, freeview box and digital radio, coal effect electric fire. Natural wood floors and rugs. French windows leading to garden.
Fully fitted kitchen - very well equipped with electric oven, hob and cooker hood, microwave, fridge, automatic washer, toaster, iron.
Dining area for 4 people.
First Floor:
Open pine staircase leading to landing. PLEASE NOTE - because of the open design of this staircase we do not recommend this cottage for children under the age of 10. There should be no problem for babies.
Bedroom 1 - Double bed, pine furniture and wicker chair. Beautiful views.
Bedroom 2 - Adult size bunks and pine furniture
Bathroom - Bath and over-bath electric shower, hand basin, WC and heated towel rail.
Outside:
Lawned garden and a choice of two outdoor eating areas - a patio which catches the sun throughout the day and gives you incredible views towards the dunes and across to the Cheviot Hills. There is also a covered dining area adjacent to the cottage.
Off road parking for 1 vehicle and additional space outside cottage on road.
Services:
We are just 12 miles north of Alnwick , 5 miles south of Bamburgh, 2 miles south of Seahouses.
Explore some of the UK's finest stretches of coast - view spectacular vistas peppered with ancient castles and ruins. Take a boat to the Farne Islands to see the seal colonies and birds (including puffins)
Turn inland and you'll have more castles (Northumberland has more castles than anywhere else in England) at your disposal and access to one of England's last open wildernesses; the Northumberland National Park; England's most tranquil place, whose dramatic hills and sheltered valleys stretch from Hadrian's Wall to the Scottish border.

Also a church. Seahouses 2 miles away offers more choice of pubs and eateries, choice of shops, boats to the Farne Islands and much more. | |||
