The cottage is situated in the center of the village of Uffington, two miles outside of Stamford and 15 miles from Peterborough. this area lies in the southern most tip of Lincolnshire. The area is well served with transport links, with the A1 passing Stamford and the main train line from London to Edinburgh going through Peterborough. Whether travelling South or North By Car on the A1: Follow signs for Stamford town center. From there, follow signs for Spalding (A16). This road leads out of Stamford and passes through the center of Uffington. Casewick lane is on the left hand side of the road, after the church but before the Bertie pub. When travelling By Train: Stamford is on the line between Peterborough and Leicester. Local taxis can be called from Stamford train station. The journey time from the station to the cottage will be approx. 10 mins. |
