At Dumfries, take the A75 bypass around the outskirts of Dumfries until the Cuckoo Bridge roundabout at which you take the exit signed A76 Kilmarnock. Carry on that road, past the Jet petrol station on your left. Shortly after, take the left turn (opposite Holywood) signed Dunscore/Moniaive onto the B729 for approximately 1.5 miles until, at a sharp right bend, you take the left fork signed Newtonairds/ Morrinton. Carry straight on that road for approxiamtely 1.25 miles until the road dips at a right bend. The old Schoolhouse is on the right. |
