Groceries and wines can be bought from one of the two convenience stores and there is also a high class butchers, a fancy goods and giftware shop called "Caracatus", a news agents, a hair-dressers, a hardware store, a small petrol outlet and vehicle servicing work-shop, an antique shop which includes a small local art gallery, all within a short walking distance from Tuc-tin cottage.
