Rock Cottage is a charming cottage full of character with oak beams and inglenooks. The accommodation is very comfortable and an ideal retreat for couples or families with young children.

West Down village is a very friendly village with a good local pub serving excellent meals. The village is in a good position for exploring the coast at Woolacombe or Croyde or walking the North Devon Coastal Path where the scenery is spectacular.

The Tarka Trail is a short distance away, where you may walk or cycle along the old railway track to Ilfracombe or around the estuary towards Barnstaple or Bideford.

Exmoor National Park is a short drive distant and there are many attractive villages to visit, including Lynton and Lynmouth or Clovelly.

For garden lovers, RHS Rosemoor and many beautiful gardens of North Devon are not to be missed
