A cosy one bedroom Lake District holiday cottage offering a romantic atmosphere, whilst having all the modern comforts which we have come to expect in the home.

The cottage has central heating as well as a log burning stove, T.V. video, mini Hi Fi as well as a selection of books, CDs and videos. There is even a blank video tape so you have no need to miss your favourite programmes.

The dining kitchen is finished in beech, has a fridge/freezer, microwave, washer/drier, fan oven with ceramic hob and a selection of cooking pots and serving dishes to satisfy even the most ardent chefs.

The bedroom is light and airy with a matching suite of antique pine furniture and luxurious fitted carpet on the floor.
The modern bathroom has a bath with shower over, toilet and shaver point with a tiled floor.

Outside is a private secluded patio with built in barbecue and views across the valley.

Directions

From the M6 junction 36, (it should take approx 45mins, BEWARE of mobile camera vans on A590.)

Follow the dual carriageway A590 towards Kendal for approx 3miles,

Turn off dual carriageway down slip road still following signs for A590 Barrow and South Lakes peninsulars .

At next roundabout (approx 5miles) take 2nd exit continuing to follow A590 towards Barrow, pass Newby Bridge and Haverthwaite Steam Railway, continue on A590 until reaching beginning of new dual carriageway at Greenodd, where you need to turn RIGHT onto the A5092 signed Whitehaven, Broughton and Coniston.

Follow A5092 for approx 2miles then turn RIGHT onto A5084 signed Coniston and Torver.

Follow this road for approx 6 miles past the side of Coniston Water and the Land Rover garage until the T junction in Torver with the Wilsons Arms pub directly in front of you.

Turn LEFT towards Broughton and the driveway to Brocklebank Ground is situated approx 500yds on the RIGHT hand side of the straight wide road.

If you reach a sharp right hand bend where the road narrows, you have GONE TOO FAR.

Parking is at the top of the driveway on the LEFT hand side in our car park. Please DO NOT park in front of our neighbours properties.
