East Cottage is a refurbished grade II listed building over 200 years old and built from local limestone. Originally a quarrymans cottage it is full of old world character with many original features such as limestone flagged floors, open beamed ceilings and coal/wood burning cast iron range.

The centrally heated accommodation consists of:

A relaxing cosy living room with open fired range, leather sofas, oak dining table, wheelback chairs and dresser, colour TV, radio, books and antiques.

A bathroom with bath, washbasin and toilet.

A pine and tiled kitchen/pantry with cupboards, work surfaces, gas cooker, sink unit, fridge freezer, electric kettle, microwave oven, iron, ironing board, vacuum cleaner and crockery/utensils sufficient for 4 adults.

A large airy bedroom with original restored pitch pine floor, a king size bed, cupboards, oak dressing table, large oak linenfold wardrobe and a washbasin.

A second bedroom overlooking the terrace garden with pitch pine floor and ceiling, 2 single beds, chest of drawers, shelves single oak linenfold wardrobe and wash basin.

Outside there is a terrace garden with table, chairs and parasol.A place to relax with views of the surrounding countryside.

Upon entering the village you will pass the Frosterley Inn (on the right hand side of the road) travel a further 100yds or so and on the same side of the road is East Cottage.East cottage has georgian windows is painted black and white and has the number 47 on the front door.
