  • Right on the edge of the beautiful Chilterns.
  • Some of the best gastro pubs in England.

Ash Copse sits on a quiet hill in rural South Oxfordshire four miles from the historic market town of Henley-on-Thames. The cottage is on the edge of the wonderful Chilterns - a place of rolling hills, protected woodlands and the winding River Thames.

The famous university town of Oxford is only 40 minutes away, Heathrow Airport is 40 minutes and central London is approx. one hour drive. The area is famous for its glorious river and woodland walks, Red kites circle in the skies, herds of deer gather in the beechwoods and bluebells burst into flower in April/May.

The famous Henley Regatta and Henley Festival takes place in June, while you are certain to eat well as no celebrity chef worth their salt goes without a gastro pub in Henley these days!

Lastly, people come from hundreds of miles away to enjoy this cyclist's paradise of quiet country roads and the tranquil river. All this just 30 miles from London! One of the best pubs (The Crown at Playhatch - chef is ex-Savoy) is just 400m walk away.
