Glenthorne is a traditional Victorian cottage set in the idyllic highland village of Newtonmore, made famous in BBCs television series Monarch of the Glen. Glenthorne is situated in the Cairngorm National Park.

The area is one of Outstanding Natural Beauty it is a walkers heaven. Other attractions in the area include the Highland Interactive Folk Nuseum, the Highland Wildlife Park, mountain biking and riding centres, watersports etc.
