The cottage is pet friendly with one small dog being allowed (for a small additional charge per week [NB: except Guide dogs]) Smoking Allowed: No. There is strictly no smoking within the property, but there is plenty of outside seating should you wish to. There is a sunny patio in front of the cottage and your own private, quiet south facing garden, lawn and flowerbeds. There is also a separate seating area and you have access to the owner's 4 acre garden next door. Local Services: Nearest pub (serving food) approx 1 mile good range of local food shops, including fishmonger, cheese & wine shop, supermarkets in Wellington (10 mins drive). Also restaurants, cinema, leisure facilites and farmers' markets. | |||

By Road From the North: Follow the M5 south to junction 26 to Wellington. Take the third exit on the roundabout, signposted Wellington. Continue for approx .5 mile. At the next roundabout, take the first exit along A38 Wellington Bypass. Continue along this bypass, through the speed restrictions. After 2.0 miles, you will see Buildbase a builders' merchants on your right. Turn left, opposite Bagley Road, at the staggered junction, signposted Hemyock. You should immediately enter the hamlet signposted Pleamore Cross. Take the first left, going over the motorway, first right and then third left, up the hill, signposted No Through Road. You will find Spring Cottage on your left, right the top of the hill, just after Broomstair, the owner's house. Park beside the cottage in the second drive. From the South: Follow the M5 north to junction 27 Tiverton and take the right exit off the roundabout, signposted Wellington. Follow the A38 for 5 miles, passing the 'Inn at Sampford' public house on your right and going over the motorway. Then at the first mini roundabout, take the third exit leading around Wellington. Be aware that you will then be taking the first turn on the right, just before the Builders' Merchants and Bagley Road on your right. You will enter the hamlet of Pleamore Cross. Take the first left, going over the motorway, first right and then third left, up the hill, signposted No Through Road. You will find Spring Cottage on your left at the top of the hill, alongside Broomstair, the owner's house. Park beside the cottage, in the second drive. |
