There are pleasant strolls in the immediate neighbourhood as well as a plenitude of walks in the Moors and Dales, with some of the finest walking countryside in England.
Easily accessible from the A1 and A19, the village provides a convenient base for exploring a host of cultural and heritage attractions and a wealth of charming little market towns and pretty villages, dotted all over North Yorkshire. History, heritage and superb architecture are on all sides, ranging from medieval towns to ruined abbeys and stately homes with magnificent gardens.
The snug, double-glazed cottage, sleeping four in two bedrooms, has been lovingly refurbished with new furnishings, while retaining its country cottage atmosphere. The fully equipped country-look kitchen, leads to a west-facing patio garden with bistro table and two chairs, where you can relax outside in privacy and enjoy being away from it all.
Bedlinen, towels, central heating and broadband facilities are all provided free-of-charge and there is on-street parking for one car.
New to the market, we are offering attractive start-up rates, including a reduction for the over-60s.
