Point House, which was built in the early 19th century, was once a longshoreman's house. Later it became part of the shipyard and it was the first house in Cowes to have electricity. The Home Guard commander lived here during the second world war. After the war it was used as the Admiralty Overseer's office. Falling into disrepair during the 1960s, it was totally restored in 1993 to become four star holiday accommodation.
So popular did it prove with visitors that Mid Point was renovated the following year and Point Quay the year after that. The building had previously been used as a riverside store and sail loft. Now all the cottages are very popular with visitors for their superb views over the river. Many guests return year after year.
Situated on the west bank of the River Medina at Cowes on the beautiful Isle of Wight. Accommodation consists of 3 quality self contained cottages, which offer extensive views of the busy river and the Solent.
Close to all the town's amenities, ferries and public transport. A short walk to the marinas and yacht clubs. Ideally placed to explore the Island.
Each cottage has car parking for one car and access to the quay by the river.
