Beckside is set in the picturesque valley of Coniston, set among supurb mountain views, with Coniston Lake to finish off its natural beauty. A truly remarkable 300 year old cottage which has been refurbished throughout to a high standard. Activitys to suit all ages, from water sports to horse riding or just take in the many scenic walks.

Beckside sleeps up to eight people, two double and two twin rooms, with two bathrooms with bath shower and heated towel rails.

The living room has TV, DVD, Sky and stereo.
The dining room has an eight seater farm house pine table and extra seating area with an open fire. The kichen has microwave, fridge/freezer, oven, hob, grill, washing machine, dishwasher and breakfast bar. Both the kitchen and dining room have locally quarried slate floors.

Beckside has underfloor heating throughout, each room having its own thermostat to suit the individual. The house is fully equipped to suit eight people.

Out side you will find a large garden with its own beck running along side which originates from the extremly popular Coniston Old Man.
The seating area with gass barbecue is the perfect place to be in those summer months.

Beckside House has been graded 4 stars by the ETC.

The price includes everything except bathroom towels, which can be hired at an extra cost.

Directions

From the south leave the M6 at junction 36 for kendal and the Lakes, continuing to Ambleside. From Ambleside take the A593 for 8 miles to Coniston. Carry on through the village over the bridge. About half a mile beyond the village you will come to the catholic chuch, we are on the immediate right.
