A feature of the house is the conservatory/ dining room, with oak flooring and an attractive gallery, which allows you to dine in comfort whilst enjoying glorious views of Coniston Old Man and the surrounding fells.
Coniston Water is a short distance from the cottage through woodlands over Torver Common. There are many other walks and climbs in the immediate area.

Ellis Howe is the only house in the post code LA21 8BH. It stands just off the A 5084. From Junction 36 on the M6 follow the A590 through Newby Bridge, turn right onto the A5084 at Greenodd ( beware of the bad junction/turning here). The road turns off towards Torver after a few miles. Ellis Howe is the white cottage 200 meters after the Torver village sign. ( Full travelling details are provided on booking) |
