The lodges have a large living area with large picture windows to soak up the view, both have been fully refurbished this past winter, to give a cozy contemporary feel to compliment the logs. I have just cleared trees and branches from the lodges frontage, the view is now a truly spectacular panorama of Loch Sunart.
The lodges are now covered by a wifi signal giving guests free access to the internet for their stay.
The Kitchens are well equipped and you will be provided with a starter pack of groceries.
The bathroom has a white suite and shower over bath.
Mingulay has three bedrooms and sleeps five, Jura has two bedrooms, but also has a metal action sofa bed so can accommodate five/six.
I cannot stress enough how wonderful this area is; not only are the views and the peace and quiet amazing, but you also have amenities to hand and Strontian is placed in the heart of the highlands.
This means you can tour from Fortwilliam to Inverness, Skye to Mull, Edinburgh to Oban and most special of all the Ardnamurchan pennisula, one of the few remaining unspoilt areas of the U.K - a breathtaking tour!

How to get to Strontian The village is on the A861 and can be reached from the South by the A82 via the Ballachulish bridge and the Corran / Ardgour ferry. The ferry runs from 06.30 until 21.30 from the Corran side. The alternative route is by way of Fort William and Kinlocheil on the A830. The lodges are on the right hand side of the road on the approach to the village of Strontian some 14 miles from Ardgour and are clearly signed as Seaview Grazings the exact location of your Lodge within the estate can be given with booking information. |
