There are a full range of facilities; fully equipped kitchen, washer / drier, dishwasher, 2 TVs, freeview, DVD, VCR, GCH.
There is a small fully enclosed courtyard with patio furnature and a parking permit is provided, which allows you to park for free in both Dunster's car parks as well as most car parks in West Somerset.
A good range of local information and guidebooks / maps are also provided to encourage you to explore the delights of Exmoor.
The cottage is well located on Dunster's oldest street just a few minutes walk from the stunning National Trust owned castle, the water mill, the children's playground and Dunster's historic Yarn Market and High Street.
Walks on Exmoor are accessed from the front door and you are a short drive from scenic delights such as Porlock, Allerford, Selworthy, Dulverton, Exford, the Doone valley, Lynmouth etc. The coastline is particularly spectacular.
I am always willing to answer queries about the cottage, Dunster and the surrounding area. If you need help while you are here I am always willing to help and if I am not available I have a housekeeper who lives nearby.
Exmoor National park is one of the 'undiscovered' gems of the UK. Those who have been to the Peak District, the Lakes, South Hams etc will know exactly what I mean. If you like the coast, wildlife, walking / cycling, good old fashioned family holidays or rustic English heritage then Exmoor - and Dunster in particular - is perfect for you.
