Around 300 years old, Lakelynn, a Jacobian farmhouse was built of local rose sandstone to service the Tudor style manor at the end of the unspoilt country lane, sheltered in a fold of Warnell Fell.

Lakelynn is fully furnished in a traditional, comfortable and sympathetic style. The ground floor is open plan with user friendly oak kitchen and dining area with full oven, hob and microwave, toaster, fridge, kettle and complimentary tea and coffee.

The leisure area is pine panelled with a natural stone feature wall. There is ample comfy seatung with TV and video. A sofa bed provides two extra beds if required.
Washing machine, dryer and ironing board are located in adjoining laundry where there is also room for cycle storage.

A pretty spiral stair leads to a small landing with a family size bathroom and two well appointed bedrooms, the master a queen sized double and the "Rose Room" a twin. A full compliment of towels and bedding is provided.

A full menu is offered for those that wish to be catered for, main course prices range from £5 to £10.

Standard Rates

Minimum 2 nights. Year round - 4 nights for the price of 3 (excluding Bank Holidays) - £45.00 per night.

Bank Holidays (min 4 nights) £260.00 or 7 nights £295.00

October - May 7 nights £200.00.

June - September 7 nights £290.00, 14 nights £550.00.

Deposit on all bookings £80 with reservation form.
Cot service charge £5.00 for duration of visit.

Payment by cash or card backed cheque only, Lakelynn does not have card facilities.




Directions

From the South:
M6, junction 41 signed for Wigton B5305, follow the road through Sebergham, when you have gone down a big windy hill and up another look for a black and white signpost on the left signed "No Through Road", follow this narrow lane for 1/2 mile and you will see Lakelynn propped on a hill.

From the North:
M6 junction 42, follow signs for Dalston. Pick up the B5299 and head towards Caldbeck. At crossroads with B5305 turn left towards Sebergham, look out for a black and white signpost to the right signed "No Through Road", follow this narrow lane for 1/2 mile and you will see Lakelynn propped on a hill.
