Taking a short walking through Lodmoor Country Park, to the left of the house you pass the Sea Life Centre, crazy golf and Lodmoor Pub, then onto the sea front. There is a convenience shop and take aways 5 minutes away. Weymouth town with its historic harbour, shopping, cosmopolitan restuarants and pubs is approximately 20 minutes walk along the sea front, or the land train runs every day, spring through to autumn. Alternatively by car it is 5 minutes with good parking or Monday to Friday a mini bus runs regularly and picks up from the end of the close. Those who enjoy watersports can travel a short distance to B0wleaze Cove or Portland Harbour where the 2012 Olympics will be held. | |||
