The cottage consists of a fully equipped kitchen, sitting/dining room, family bedroom and en suite bathroom. There is parking directly outside and at the rear of the property a small patio and a 2 1/2 acre meadow.
For the comfort and convenience of our guests we operate a strict no smoking policy. If this policy offends - we apologise but most of our visitors appreciate a no smoking environment. No pets allowed.
Furnishings are comfortable and colour co-ordinated and for your convenience include hair dryer, iron, vacuum cleaner, clock radio, games, videos, music, etc and a welcome grocery pack to get you started. You will also find tourist information to help you plan your stay and make it more enjoyable. There is a substantial amount of holiday reading available on the shelves for those quieter moments
Mill View is available throughout the year including Christmas and we have flexible start dates. Credit cards taken.
The beautiful medieval town of Thaxted has pubs, shops, restaurant and a bus service that connects with the airport and other surrounding villages. The cathedral-like church and windmill are a must to visit. It is also home to the Thaxted sausage - so a visit to the local butcher is recommended.
