The area encapsulates the essence of Scotland with mountains, lochs and sea lochs combining to create a place of great scenic beauty. There are walks and mountain bike trails to explore, or visit the Benmore Botanical Garden nearby, a satellite of the Royal Botanical Garden in Edinburgh. Wildlife is plentiful here and this is an ideal location for ornithologists, hill-walkers and ramblers. The popular seaside resort of Dunoon is 6 miles away and offers good shopping, a cinema, golf course and large indoor swimming pool. Nearest shop and pub 1 mile.
Traditionally built of solid red Douglas Fir, this lodge is well-maintained, comfortably furnished and welcoming.
1 king-size double and 2 twin bedroom (cot and high chair available), comfortable sitting area open plan to dining area and attractive well-equipped kitchen, bathroom. All electric. Fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, auto washer/dryer, microwave, television, video, CD/DVD player. Bed linen and towels are provided.

Take the scenic drive north from Glasgow, past Loch Lomond, then over the Rest & Be Thankful (A83), then turn off onto the A815 (signposted Dunoon) Drive along Loch Fyne, through the shore villages of St Catherines & Strachur, keep following the A815 towards Dunoon, along Loch Eck side. When you pass the Younger Botanic Gardens on the right, Inveryne is only 0.5 Miles away on the left. Drive to Gourock and sail accross the Firth of Clyde on Western Ferries or Caledonian MacBrayne |
