We had recently launched our 'Afternoon Tea Service'for all guests staying at The Old dairy Cottage. Scrumptious home baked scones and cakes all served with a pot of tea! Please enquire for full details.
Set in the beautiful hamlet of Timble and perfect for couples, it is the ideal base for exploring the Yorkshire Dales and surrounding area. It's distance from Harrogate is 8 miles, Skipton 10 miles and Ilkley 5 miles.
The cottage offers stunning valley views, peace and quiet and has many great walks from the doorstep. Excellent fishing is at Fewston and Swinsty reservoirs ( 7 minute walk from the cottage).
Ideally situated also for visiting the historic spa town of Harrogate and The Gateway To The Dales, Skipton.
The accommodation comprises of an open plan lounge/kitchen and dining area (all on one level) with a cosy log burning stove. Patio doors open onto the lovely terrace with stunning views. Satellite TV is supplied along with DVD, CD and video players.
The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, hob, microwave oven and all kitchen equipment.
The spacious bedroom has oak beams and patio doors leading out to the private garden.
Stunning views of the Washburn Valley can be seen from all aspects of the cottage, patio and garden. There is a choice of either 2 single or a super king size bed.
The Old Dairy has it's own totally private and very pretty garden and patio with outside seating to enjoy the panoramic views. You also have complimentary use of a BBQ.
We pride ourselves on our very high standards of cleanliness and attention to detail. The Old Dairy is our only cottage and we are able to give it our undivided attention - Our guests comfort is our priority.
We have been awarded the Visit Britain 4 Star grading for 5 years running.
