All linen and towels are included and a 'Welcome pack' of tea, coffee, sugar, bread, butter, preserves, cereals, milk and Free-range eggs (when available) from the chickens next door is provided for your first breakfast.
A log burning stove provides cosy heating in the living area (with a complementary bag of logs provided)with additional electric backgroung heating (the accommodation is very warm as it is well insulated).
The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a fridge with ice box and a dishwasher and washing machine. A 36" colour television with Freeview channels and a DVD player are provided.
Parking is available for two cars and is secure and off road. The owners property covers approximately three quarters of an acre and is bounded by the Grantham canal, the banks of which can be accessed. The owners garden also has a fishpond.
Green Man Cottage is situated in the beautiful village of Redmile just two miles from Belvoir Castle. There are two pub/restaurants in the village and many other facilities such as small shops/hairdressers/wine bar/Post Office/petrol station in Bottesford, just four miles away. The area is a haven for walking and fishing and there is local access to fishing lakes and nearby golf courses.
Nottingham 20 miles, Grantham 10 miles, Melton Mowbray 12 miles and Newark 15 miles.
