Situated in an elevated position on the outskirts of Creetown, the cottage has superb panoramic views across Wigtown Bay and estuary to Garlieston and Wigtown.
The cottage is single storey - all on one level with gas central heating and comprises of cosy lounge with gas fire, television with DVD player, radio and CD player, boardgames table, with games, books and DVDs.
There is a fully equipped kitchen/diner with table and chairs electric cooker, fridge freezer, microwave and washing machine.
The bathroom has a traditional suite.
The small hall leads to the bedroom with single beds that can converted to a large double if you prefer,dressing table, chest of drawers and wardrobe.
Clauchan Cottage is ideal for sandy beaches, sea and mountains, local walks, signposted cycle routes, historic castles, birdwatching, fishing (sea and river), local botanical gardens and miles of beautiful coastline leading to the Mull of Galloway.
