The cottage can sleep seven-eight people with a double bedroom a twin bedroom, a twin/double bedroom and a family bathroom on the first floor, a further single bedroom with en-suite shower room, a dining room seating up to eight people, lounge with TV and DVD player, fully fitted kitchen and utility room which has additional fridge and freezer space, a washing machine and a further WC on the ground floor. A back door leads from the utility room onto the private back garden.
As well as our holiday accommodation we also have a working cider farm. You can usually come and watch us making cider during October and November. We also host an annual steam pressing weekend mid October (see our website for this years dates)with antique presses, steam engines and country craft demonstrations. Our shop is open all year round for some sampling of the good stuff!
We have direct access onto the New Forest from our property which boasts miles of walking and cycle routes through ancient woodland and open heathland. The nearest beach is 6 miles away at Highcliffe where you can visit the historic castle before heading down the cliffs to the sandy beach with views over to the Isle of Wight.

From London/East: To reach Burley take the M27 towards Bournemouth, which turns into the A31 at Cadnam. Follow this for about 10 miles until you see the sign off to Burley. This road takes you to the village centre. From West: Follow the A35 until Ringwood then take A31 towards Southampton, follow this road for approx 2 miles until you see the sign off to Burley. This road takes you to the village centre. Then: Turn right at the War Memorial cross in the centre of the village into Pound Lane. Follow this road for about 200m, there is a petrol station and village hall on the right, we are almost opposite, on the left, across the cattle grid. |
