This very modern detached 4 star beach front holiday house sits just a few feet from an award winning gently sloping beach in an enviable harbour location on the sheltered east coast of Fife. With no roads to cross to access the beach, its very safe for the children to enjoy the seashore right on the doorstep.
Within close proximity of St Andrews, Edinburgh, Perth and the Highlands, with excellent road, rail, sea and air links to all the major Scottish cities it makes this the perfect base to discover all the delights of Scotland.
There are no busy roads to cross therefore making it completely safe for children to access the gently sloping sandy beach.
Salmon Cottage is centrally heated from an easy to use combination gas central heating system with adjustable radiators in every room; piping hot water is on tap at all times. The bathrooms and separate power shower rooms are fully tiled and feature heated towel rails and very modern fittings.
The double bedroom features sea views and a king size solid oak bed with crisp, white, hotel quality linen, matching solid oak dressing table and bedside drawers, wall mirrors and with a flat screen digital channel TV. A safety deposit box is provided for your valuables.
The twin room also has fabulous sea views and features contemporary top quality furniture and solid oak framed beds and a flat screen TV with DVD.
The open aspect lounge, dining area and kitchen are fitted out with everything the modern traveller would expect from a top quality property. Featuring comfortable leather upholstery, the latest 'Lazy Easy Chairs' and matching footstools for your comfort.
Solid oak furniture, a 40inch flat screen TV with full menu Sky channels, DVD, and stereo. There is an extensive range of books, CDs, DVDs games and places to eat & visit folders. The modern lighting systems can be adjusted to match any mood or circumstance.
The Kitchen and dining areas are fully integrated to a very high standard with all modern appliances including fridge, freezer, electric fan assisted oven, five burner easy to ignite gas hob unit with extractor fans, microwave/grill.
Also available are a quick boil kettle and coffee machines, dishwasher and an excellent array of catering quality kitchenware, with a dinner service & table linen for special dining occasions, to savour the wonderful sea views from the dining area.
With a large solid oak dining table and comfortable leather and stainless steel seating to enjoy that stunning sea view over the bay.
There is a purpose built separate utility room well away from the lounge which includes full laundry facilities including a washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing equipment. Outside drying is also available.
Good sized all weather patios with south facing sea views to the front of the property or if you prefer secluded to the rear, with barbecue equipment, tables, chairs, loungers, sun parasols and lighting & lanterns for evening entertainment. There is a excellent selection of buckets, spades & beach equipment for the sand castle architects in the family and parking for the cars.
