The bubbling Gillbanks brook runs adjacent to the cottage and garden creating an idyllic setting for a relaxing time.

For couples, the cottage offers a high quality romantic setting for a relaxing holiday. Set on the edge of Ulverston centre, the cottage is quiet and picturesque yet only one minutes walk from the bustling town centre with its range of pubs, restaurants, individual shops and theatre.

For families, the cottage is set only a short drive from many local family attractions including the South Lakes Wild Animal Park, Barrow's Dock Museum, the beach and sand dunes at Roanhead as well as the Haverthwaite steam railway and many stunning family walks. Both Lake Windermere and Lake Coniston are short drives away making Brookside Cottage an ideal base to explore the Lake District
