The galley kitchen is well equiped, with dishwasher, microwave, cooker and fridge. We have a large utility shed at the side of the cottage with washing machine and tumble dryer. There is also room for bikes or surf boards etc.
There is an oil fired Aga which runs the central heating, the lounge area also has a big woodburning stove, lovely on a cold winters evening. There is a TV, DVD with plenty of DVDs and CD player.
It has a downstairs clockroom, the double bedroom is en-suite with bath and shower. Plenty of wardrobe and drawer space for your holiday clothes.
Outside the front door is a lovely area to sit and enjoy your breakfast or a glass of wine, and watch the sun set over the sea, the evening skys in Pennan are just beautiful.
Pennan is famous for the film "Local Hero" with Burt Lancaster. It is a picturesque village, nestled at the foot of imposing cliffs, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, it is quiet peaceful and romantic.
Seals and dolphens often frequent the local waters, there is also an abundance of sea birds and wildlife. Plenty of walks along beaches or along the cliffs in the area.
There are several excellant golf courses in the area. Plenty of good places to eat, we have the famous Pennan Inn which has a wonderful menu. Also close by are the Harbour restaurant in Gardenstown and Pitsligo Hotel both serving mouth watering food.
