Honeysuckle Cottage is a delightful one bedroom cottage tucked away down a private road which overlooks The Shimmings Valley in the delightful market town of Petworth. The property is ideally situated for Petworth House and park, Cowdry Park at Midhurst, Goodwood House and motor circuit.

The cottage is fully equipped. There is a lounge with patio doors onto a terrace with wrought iron garden furniture. In the lounge you will find DVD, VCR and TV along with a small collection of DVDS, CDS games and books.

On the next level there is a well equipped kitchen/dining area which includes a washer/tumble dryer, microwave, electric oven and hob, fridge and separate freezer.

We provide tea, coffee, sugar, milk, butter bread and eggs to get you started along with condiments and all cleaning materials for your stay.

From the kitchen there is a square pine staircase leading to the landing where you have a very large cupboard/wardrobe for your clothes and suitcases.

Off the landing is the Bathroom with bath and handheld shower. We provide fluffy towels, a choice of towelling bath robes or lightweight waffle dressing gowns, hairdryer, slippers, and molton brown toiletries.

From the landing taking two steps down to a lower level is the bathroom which has an iron bed with fresh crisp white linen duvet to ensure you have a good nights sleep. The bedroom enjoys stunning views across the valley. There is also a LCD TV for those early nights or lazy mornings.

The cottage has a well stocked garden and a terrace where you can sit and enjoy a chilled glass of wine relaxing and enjoying the lovely views. Private parking for guests.

Petworth is the antique capital of the UK with over 29 shops. It is only a short 5 minute walk into the town centre where you can shop and enjoy many of the lovely tea rooms and restaurants. Supermarkets, banks and post office are in town.

Petworth festival starts 13th July - 6th august 2007 with many events such as the Petworth Fete, art, photography and plant exhibitions, square dance, street theatre and the hidden secret gardens, well worth a visit. Some time in July, (dates to be announced) there are live concerts in Petworth Park where you can pack your hamper, take your wine and literally walk across from the cottage to the Park where artists will perform (TBA)

Glorious Goodwood takes place 31st July. Festival of Speed takes place 22nd - 24th June, 2007 and the Revival of Speed takes place beginning of September.
