Just 8 miles from Junction 12 of the M40, George's Stable is quietly situated in 97 acres of grazing farmland halfway between the villages of Oxhill and Tysoe at the foot of Edge Hill in the Vale of Red Horse. It is surrounded by fields on all sides grazed by sheep and cattle, and commands outstanding views of the escarpment where the Battle of Edge Hill was fought on 23rd October 1642.
It is ideally positioned 12 miles from Stratford-upon-Avon, 10 miles from Banbury, 25 miles from Oxford, 15 miles from Warwick and a 20 minute drive from the Cotswolds. It is only one mile from the large village of Tysoe which has an extremely well-stocked Post Office, excellent shop, butchers, doctors surgery, pub, beautiful 11th century church and restored windmill.
Several footpaths are within walking distance across the farm for ramblers and there is a large variety of birdlife for 'twitchers'! Nearby there is a golf club, riding stables, gliding club and fishing.

And has comfortable sofas and a TV with DVD/video player. The well-equipped kitchen/breakfast room has a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge with ice box, built-in cooker and hob. These two rooms have views towards the Edge Hill escarpment. Upstairs the large bedroom has a double bed, built-in wardrobe, dressing table, TV and hairdryer. This room has views towards Tysoe windmill and Edge Hill. The bathroom also has wonderful views and has a bath with shower over.
All sheets, pillowcases, towels, teacloths, j-cloths provided and the kitchen is comprehensively stocked with cutlery, china, iron, ironing board etc.
