Newland Holiday Cottages are set in 6 acres of peaceful and secluded grounds and surrounded by open countryside in a beautiful part of rural Lincolnshire. These cottages, furnished and equipped to a very high standard, are the result of a conversion of a 19th century agricultural barn. The cottages are set around a pretty courtyard with covered barbecue area complete with patio heaters.

The cottages provide an ideal base to visit not just Lincolnshire with its pretty Wolds’ villages, but Nottinghamshire as well. Within an easy drive are Lincoln, Louth, York, Newark and the forests at Sherwood and Clumber as well as Rufford Park. There are super walks from the door as well as many others just a short distance away. A variety of shops (including gift shops), restaurants, and pubs are located just 1 ½ miles away. For those guests wishing to stay closer to home, Newlands boasts 4 acres of grounds complete with woodland and large lake.

Newlands is just a 5 minute car journey to the centre of Epworth, home of the Wesleys and the World of Methodism. John Wesley, founder of Methodism, was born in the town in 1703 at the Old Rectory, which after being burnt down, was rebuilt and now preserved. The town of Gainsborough is just 9 miles away; an inland port on the River Trent with its little known treasure the Old Hall, an outstanding timber framed medieval manor house with 15th century brick tower.
